Whether you refer to “him” as sasquatch, yeti or bigfoot, it is the infamous beast seen within blurry pictures through the years. Many have claimed to see the massive creature but the only proof provided has been apparent footprints or images captured before it disappeared in the woods.

Academics do not want to venture into the topic with many believing it is a myth not worth analyzing. The Lausanne Museum of Zoology in Switzerland and Oxford University however, will use DNA testing for the first time to examine organic remains that some believe belong to the bigfoot.

Who knows, maybe this scientific genetic testing will put an end to the centuries long debate!
