Allegra’s Wacky Facts: Would You Pay $1 Million for a Parking Space?!

A million dollars is more than most people would dream of spending on a house but what about a parking space? New York City will soon have the most expensive parking space available to New Yorkers in a private garage at 66 E. 11th St. The space is 12 feet wide, 23 feet long and more than 15 feet high, available this fall with a price tag of $1 Million! This sum would be the same as paying a $115 ticket for illegal parking every day – for 24 years according to the NY Post.

“It’s for someone who wants complete privacy. You can drive in and not be seen again. It’s for the type of person who finds that attractive. It would be a celebrity or a business person who is camera shy” says Prudential Douglas Elliman.

The space will go along with an 8,000 square-foot penthouse with a private 3,000 square foot terrace that will be listed for $38.8 million. Some of the features include shower water that will be pumped full of vitamin C and aloe, heat reflexology flooring, along with lighting patterns and air quality that are designed to provide its residents with a better night’s rest.

What do you think? Is it worth $1 Million??
